Who Not Only Preached The Gospel But Lived It

1 Thessalonians 1:5b~6a “even as you know what kind of men we were among you for your sake. And you became imitators of us and of the Lord”

Brother Ittai was a man who not only preached the gospel but lived it. His ministering was not only in word but also by a life that displayed the power of God, a life in the Holy Spirit and in the assurance of faith. He was a pattern to us, the young saints, always encouraging us to be imitators of him and leading us to follow the Lord Himself. The kind of men he was left a deep impression on me as a young believer, and I thank the Lord for this excellent pattern who has run the race before us.
